David Arquette will be at the NWA Pop Up on January 5th.

Prior to his return to the ring in 2018 David Arquette had five professional matches. In 2000 he would debute for WCW’s Monday Nitro in conjunction with the promotion for the movie “Ready to Rumble.” Arquette would win the WCW World Championship on WCW Thunder. He would make his Pay Per View debut losing to Jeff Jarrett in a Triple Cage match (made famous in the movie “Ready to Rumble.” At that point his career appeared to be over. Ten years later he made his debut on a Monday Night Raw teaming with Alex Riley only to lose to the “Viper” Randy Orton.
Arquette’s decision to get back into the ring was met with resistance from the established wrestling media. Trained by “Pretty” Peter Avalon, his debut match was against RJ City who has become his reluctant tag team partner as of late. The duo have teamed to face Frank the Clown and James Ellsworth at Warriors of Wrestling, against Halal Beefcake at the BCW: Impact One Night Only, and House of Hardcore taking on Robbie E and Tyrus.
Famously Arquette wrestled Nick Cage at Joey Janela’s LA Confidential and was seriously injured during the “death match.”
NWA Pop Up is scheduled to take place in Clarksville Tennessee on January 5th. Select ring side tickets are still available and general admission is first come first serve.
