Damien Wayne Interview

I recently had a chance to sit down with one of the top stars in the entire NWA in the NWA Dawg champion Damien Wayne. We had a chance to talk about what the future holds as well as looking back on the nearly year long title reign he has going on.
Q: On May 19th you make your return to your old stomping grounds at NWA Fusion. Do you know who you will be facing? Do you have a preference?
A: Well I do have some unfinished business to take care of in Fusion but on May 19th I will be up against Eddie Diamond who is a newcomer to Fusion but is well established in other orgs.
Q: Do you plan on returning to NWA Fusion on a regular basis?
A: Yes Jason I do plan on returning there on a regular basis and I plan on being a big part of Fusion throughout the next year.
Q: You have had quite a reign as NWA Dawg champ. Who has been your toughest challengers?
A: Well ive been all over defending this title. I believe 6 states so far. There really hasnt been an easy challenge as they all have been tough competitors but if I had to choose id say Chance Prophet and Vordell Walker.
Q: Talk a little about your upcoming 3 way dance for the NWA Mountain State title?
A: Well on May 20th one night after I return to Fusion I head to MSW to try and win that title. I have some business to take care of with Lance Erikson and now they have added Mr 4 time world champ Adam Pearce to the mix. Well thats fine by me. Pearce and I go way back and I still have some unsettled business with him as well. But when its all said and done I will be the one standing with my hand raised as the new NWA MSW champ
Q: Talk about what it means to face someone the caliber of Jerry Lynn on July 14th?
A: Lynn is a great wrestler who has done it all in this business. I say im the best wrestler out there. Well by facing someone of his caliber and beating him will just prove even more im the best in the world.
Q: If you could say one thing to the NWA Board what would it be?
A: That sooner or later you will have no choice but to give me my shot. I am the uncrowned world champion and when I finally do get my shot I will be the new NWA World Heavyweight Champion!
