Congrats to New Global Champion, Eli Drake

>Out lasting 19 other men in Global Force Wrestling, Eli Drake became the new Global Champion. Drake has had quite a bit of success in his tenure at Impact Wrestling, being a former King of the Mountain Champion. But fans of the United Wrestling Network might remember Drake as a champion long before entering the Impact Zone. Drake and then partner Brian Cage, managed by Percy Pringle the III were former Mach-1 Tag Team Champions and Championship Wrestling from Hollywood Tag Team Champions. As Shaun Ricker, he would also hold the Empire Wrestling Federation Championship and in a feat not unlike tonight on Impact would outlast 29 other men to win the Championship Wrestling from Hollywood, Heritage Championship. Even after joining the Impact Roster, Drake would still be very active in the United Wrestling Network competing for Championship Wrestling from Arizona, CWFH, and Future Stars of Wrestling where he is  the former FSW Heavyweight Champion.

Needless to say I’m sure the folks at the United Wrestling Network are quite proud of Mr. Drake and we at Alliance-Wrestling.com wish him nothing but the best.  And that’s not just our opinion, that’s a fact of life.
