Cody is IWGP United States Champion

What a banner weekend for the Rhodes family.The reigning NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Cody, defeated the IWGP United States Champion in Juice Robinson. One Twitter user would note that on the first day of September, Cody became NWA Worlds Champion and on the last day, IWGP US Champion. Cody pulled out all the stops and with Brandi by his side was able to steal one from Robinson.
At the conclusion of New Japan’s Fighting Spirit Unleashed</em. Cody interjected himself into the next IWGP World Title Match. Ibushi vs. Cody vs. Omega. It should be noted that the NWA Worlds Championship is no stranger to New Japan, this will be the first time in a long time the NWA Worlds Champion will challenge for the IWGP Worlds Championship.

Saturday Night, Cody was tasked in his first title defense against Willie Mack. The double tough product from South Central Los Angeles, who is currently Hollywood Heritage Champion for CWFH and the Twitch TV Champion for House of Hardcore.
