Dickinson vs. Richards

Chris Dickinson will defend his title against Davey Richards. This will mark the first time in nine years that Richards and Dickinson faced each other in a ring. This match will be Davey’s debut for the United Wrestling Network. Richards returned to wrestling in 2021 after a 4-year break. Before his break, Richards wrestled all over the world. He has been a World Champion in ROH, PWG, and CZW and has held dozens of tag team titles across the world. Richards signed a contract with MLW in 2021 and recently extended his deal with them.

Due to injury, Chris Dickinson had to take a brief break towards the end of last year. Dickinson got back into the ring again, during Wrestlemania Weekend. He secured a victory over Minoru Suzuki at Bloodsport. Also has a victory over the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Matt Cardona at Joey Janela’s Spring Break 6. This will be Dickinson’s first title defense.

Open Door Policy

Long before there was a Forbidden Door, David Marquez had introduced the Open Door. This policy would often result in stars from all over the world showing up on United Wrestling Network. The relationship that David Marquez has built with MLW, CGW, NJPW Strong, and AEW has left very few doors closed to Championship Wrestling. At the last event Reality of Wrestling’s owner and former 5 time World Champion Booker T made an appearance.
