Another Free-Agent leaves the NWA
Add Allysin Kay to the list of names who have parted ways with the National Wrestling Alliance. The former champion announced her departure Monday Night on Twitter.

Making the formal announcement via her Twitter account, Allysin Kay announced her departure from the National Wrestling Alliance. The Detroit native had been apart of the NWA since April 27th when she defeated former Santana Garret to to fill the vacant NWA World Womans Champion.
“As of today, I am officially a free agent.
Thank you to the NWA for the opportunities, which included one of my favorite matches of my career.
I am open for indy bookings & appearances. Let’s get weird.

Allysin Kay was a bright spot for the NWA Woman’s Division. Kay would defend the championship against former Woman’s Champion Kacee Carlisle, Marti Belle, Heather Monroe, and ODB. As Champion, she defended the title in Ring of Honor, Championship Wrestling from Hollywood and AML. Her presence on POWERRR help solidify the legitimacy of the Woman’s Division.
Kay would lose the Burke to Thunder Rosa on January 24th at Hard Times. She last wrestled for the NWA on the third episode of Primetime Live, by defeating Nicole Savoy.
Kay’s departure from the NWA is yet another name added to join the long list of names who left the organization that halted is studio audience wrestling show back in March admist growing concerns of Covid-19. The NWA hasn’t promoted a live wrestling event since January 26th.
