Murdoch Suspended…
Sal Rinauro took the worst inopportune time to interfere into the six-man tag team match last Tuesday. His interjection distracted Tim Storm, long enough, for Adonis to hit his finisher. And after receiving the full-nelson slam, Storm was easy pickings for the pin. The more pressing issue for Trevor Murdoch is the 30 day suspension, without pay. As noted by commentary, he’s missed paid days due to injury and now this. Which complicates matters is we’re 30 days away from the next pay-per-view When our Shadows Fall.
Thunder Rosa Speaks…
After last weeks Women’s Summit proved to be less than fruitful, the former Women’s Champion will speak. Ever since defeating Allysin Kay at Hard Times on January 24th, 2020 the world has been aware of Rosa. (). She had rapidly become one of the cornerstones of the NWA. (See our Interview with Thunder Rosa from Last Year ).Even after losing the championship, she carried the NWA banner at both AEW and Mission Pro. Even with a loss to Kamille, she has made it perfectly clear that she wishes to regain the NWA Women’s Worlds Championship. She will not rest until she does.
Strictly Business Hierarchy
Strictly Business formed on Episode 10 of NWA POWERRR when Nick Aldis confronted his old foe and the man he defeated for the Ten Pounds of Gold, Tim Storm. Storm had suggested that Aldis should agree to face Marty Scrull in a rematch. Aldis took exception to Storm’s commentary and challenged him to fisticuffs. Blindsided by the former NWA Tag Team Champions Wild Card (Thom Latimer and Royce Isaacs), Tim Storm stood no chance. Kamille would enter the ring to seemingly help Storm. This was a façade. Kamille pushed off Aldis, so that she could spear Storm as well.
And then before the Hard Times PPV, they added former WCW World Champion to the mix Scott Steiner. Steiner was only briefly in the group. During the pandemic, Isaacs and the NWA parted ways.
At the very least, since joining the NWA, it appears that Chris Adonis is at least an associate of Strictly Business. Aldis helped to manipulate Trevor Murdoch to give Adonis a National Title shot. Murdoch was injured. Since becoming champion, Adonis has only worked matches teamed with members of Strictly Business.
PowerrrSurge Spotlight Match
The women of Mission Pro have added an influx of talent to the National Wrestling Alliance. With the departures of Allysin Kay and others, the NWA was left with a bit of a void. Notwithstanding, Melina and the addition of Taryn Terrell, there hasn’t been a lot of women matches on POWERRR.
Jennacide has definitely made her presence felt on the program. Having teamed with Skye Blue against Thunder Rosa. Nobody on POWERRR has been able to match size and strength with Kamille the way that Jennacide was able too. Her match against Holidead from Mission Pro was a barn burner.
Sky Blue trained at Chicago Style Wrestling School. Being in the business for over six years she is currently the ZERO1 USA, CSW, and LLT Women’s Champion. She wrestles regularly out of the Midwest. She recently competed for F1RST Wrestling, AAW, and has taken part in events presented by Game Changer Wrestling. She’s also made appearances for AEW.
