[Fite TV Preview]
An Aldis Ultimatium
The animosity between Nick Aldis and Trevor Murdoch has reached a boiling point. Both Aldis and Murdoch share branches are the Harley Race Wrestling Tree. The former eight time NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion trained Murdoch for wrestling. Race also had a hand in finishing Nick’s training as well as celebrated Aldis as Worlds Heavyweight Champion. But that’s where these two stop sharing commonalities.
The only time the pair have wrestled each other one-on-one was on Episode 7 of NWA POWERRR. After the Trevor Murdoch tapped out to the King’s Lynn Cloverleaf the men shook hands and Aldis said he respected him. However, Aldis has been anything but respectful to Murdoch. Aldis engineered a plot to take Murdoch out of the National Title picture and has been manipulating him ever since. What will Aldis say to Murdoch?
JR Kratos vs. Sal Rinauro
Sal Rinauro has had high levels of success outside of the National Wrestling Alliance. Since the start of NWA POWERRR, Rinauro’s level of success has been low. Rinauro picked up his first victory last week when he faced off against the World Tag Team Champions last week. Although he had promised a mystery partner, Rinauro wrestled 90% of the match without a partner. Tim Storm only offered his services when Kratos tried to punish Rinauro.
Despite is lack of success as of late, JR Kratos is a feared wrestler from the West Coast. He’s a regular for Josh Barnnett’s Blood Sport. He also is a member of Team Filthy for New Japan Strong. And it was his unique paring with Aron Stevens that crowned him a World Tag Team Champion. But Kratos is having difficulty adjusting to Aron Steven’s new outlook on life and it is a cause for concern. Kratos lost to Tyrus as Back for the Attack. He then took the loss in the six-man-tag-team match with Da Pope and again took the loss against Sal Rinauro and his mystery partner. It’s obvious that Kratos has grown beyond frustrated. Will he take out his anger on Sal Rinauro?
NWA World Women’s Championship Summit
Serena Deeb became NWA World Women’s Champion October 21st 2020 in California. She defeated Thunder Rosa at United Wrestling Network’s Prime Time LIVE. Almost immediately the champion began to defend in All Elite Wrestling. However, she endured a knee injury back in March. After successful arthroscopy surgery on her knee, she has been working for a return to the ring.
At Back for the The Attack, Kamille defeated Thunder Rosa to win the bid to challenge for the Burke. Since then, Kamille has been taunting Rosa. She has attacked Rosa with cheap shots or flat out interference in her matches. Thunder Rosa has made it clear that she too still wants to be the Woman’s Champion. Perhaps the outbursts will subside after the summit.
There have been three men to be Champion since the reintroduction of the title. Ricky Starks lost his title on Zicky Dice on his third defense. Dice lost to Pope on his third defense. Tonight Tyrus will challenge Da Pope of the NWA Television Championship. This will be Da Pope’s third defense. Last week Tyrus defeated Matt Cross and Marshe Rocket for the chance to face the TV Champ. This will mark the biggest challenge the Pope has ever faced in the ring. Will Pope be TV Champion next week? You’ll have to tune in and find out.
