NWA Worlds Champion defended at Blood, Sweat, & Beers

29 Challenges for the Legendary 10lbs of Gold since December 9th 2017 and 29 victories for the National Treasure, Nick Aldis.  As the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion makes his final approach to September 1st’s All In 2018 and his showdown with “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes, he has two more title defenses scheduled in the month of August.  A departure from his typical schedule where he wrestled up to eight times a month and on average, four times a month.

Both Anderson and Aldis are former Impact World Heavyweight Champions.  Prior to his successful runs in World Wrestling Entertainment and Impact Wrestling, Ken Anderson was a mainstay in he Midwest competing in NWA Affiliated promotions and even holding the NWA Midwest Heavyweight Title.  If Anderson’s role as spoiler comes to fruition he will have fulfilled a goal 15 yeas in the making.
