CWFH: Promotional Appearances in Wenzhou

salt_20180412_064722_363A literal motorcade of Range Rovers ascended upon the Shangri-La Hotel.  This motorcade wasn’t assigned to a foreign dignitary or a visiting prime minister, rather this spectacle was the culmination of three years of planning.    Finally coming to fruition with the United Wrestling Network’s Championship Wrestling from Hollywood event in China.  The collaborative event promoted by CWFH, the National Wrestling Alliance and Inoki Genome Federation will take place on Saturday April the 14th in The People’s Republic of China.  Wenzhou is located at the extreme south east of Zhejiang Province.

“I think it’s really cool.  We’ve been working on this project for three years and here we are, just days away from making history in the United States by being the first television pro wrestling broadcast to originate from China.  WWE hasn’t do it.  Impact hasn’t doing it.   WCW never did it.  And our little company that could, is.  Very excited and proud and a lot of hard work went into making this happen.”  David Marquez first made his trek to China nearly three years ago when he met Mr. Lee.  With the emerging desire for professional wrestling in their country, Chinese officials reached out to Simon Inoki and in turn reached out to Marquez to bring a unique opportunity to promote wrestling in a region that hasn’t been exposed to a lot of wrestling.

Today Thursday April 12th, the majority of the rosters for the show traveled by said motorcade to unique spots through out Wenzhou.  The promotional appearance were randomly though out the city.  Each stop was ear marked by a group photo while the wrestlers drank natural mineral water or a vitamin water.  Stops included various shopping plaza including the Wenzhou World Trade Center and local Land Rover – Jaguar Dealership.  Both the dealership and the bottle water company are sponsors for the show.  Colt Cabana thought “This is wild.  We’re doing press and we’re getting a real good view of Wenzhou.  They are taking us all around, so we get to see all the surroundings and everything around the city.”

This historic night of wrestling will take place at Wenzhou Tiyu Center.  United Wrestling Network Tag Team Champions Reno Scum (Luster the Legend and Adam Thornstone) will defend against Alex Chamberlain and Watts.  Barbi Hayden will face off against Heather Monroe.  The main event will be “Boom Boom” Colt Cabana challenging NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion “The National Treasure” Nick Aldis.  The show will be made available via the CWFH Network of channels, stay tuned for more details.
